August 2010 rainfall

La Nina seems to be holding steady, making above-average rainfall still likely for the next few months.

There was rain in our gauge on 6 days in August, totalling 79mm – almost twice the average for the month. Things are much nicer than this time last year when we recorded 9mm forthe month and our tanks were only holding about 65% capacity.
