Bill, Ben and a very dry red

I have begun the process of converting 3 surplus wine barrels into something useful. I am working on one that will become a drinks and nibbles table for the bar I am building. This one you see is being cut in half to make matching giant plant pots for a Christmas gift. The lawn tractor has been strategically backed into position to serve as one half of the clamp (the other being a brick wall) holding the barrel firmly and horizontally so the tradesman pictured can accurately wield his circular saw.
You can see the remains of the last batch of wine the barrel held in the middle picture – very mature and now a truly ‘dry red’. You can decide whether the young man supervising the job is Bill or Ben.
