Two ‘writes’ don’t make a wrong

13 year-old Catherine and I both write. Who knows where this will lead, but she commented the other day that it will be interesting to see which of us is published first – father or daughter!

I have little doubt about the outcome of that question.

Anyway, in the meantime, I have suggested to her that we try to co-write something, just for fun. We each wrote an opening paragraph or two and then swapped notes. The idea is to take up the story as it unfolds and make a contribution before handing it back for the next installment.

The idea may go nowhere, but I have thoroughly enjoyed it so far, and am hopeful that we might end up with two co-written short stories, which will then, no doubt be tucked away in a drawer somewhere!

  1. Yours is a wonderful father/ daughter relationship. I am sure you will both enjoy this challenge which will make sure you are both keeping up.

As for BC’s news – mind boggling. Where will it end? Congratulations to you both. Monday 21st will be the most exciting day.

  2. Can’t wait to read it!
